Anugraha School:
Children's Day
On 14th November, 2016 Children's Day was celebrated in Anugraha School
Bidar. It's the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who dedicated his
day for children. The day was colourful as all children wore colour
dress to celebrate their day. The stage of Anugraha was much more
colourful as two sisters of Brahma Kumaris viz., Vijayalakshmi and
Savitha and the RRC Konkani retreat preacher Br. James was on the dais
along with the principal, fr. Richard, fr. Prashanthkumar, fr.
Lourdsawmy, fr. Karunesh and school leaders. The teachers took every
initiative to celebrate the day in a grand manner. Teachers danced and
entertained the students. What is remarkable is fr. Lourdsawmy
entertained everyone with a beautiful dance. Miss Vijayalakshmi spoke
about that the children are the future of the country, their talents are
to be trapped and given appropriate space to develop them. Moreover the
program was accompanied by fancy dress competition for the students.
Thus many parents had come for the children's day celebration. The
program ended with announcement of the prizes for the winners and sweet
distribution.
