Christmas Celebration at Anugraha School, Bidar:
Christmas was celebrated in a grand scale at Anugraha School, Bidar. Sr. Lavinia Fernandes, SCCG, the Headmistress of Divya Jyothi School, Bhalki was the chief guest of the function. During the assembly Fr. Francis Fernandes, OFM Cap. gave a befitting message to all the students. Later, during the cultural programme Sr. Lavinia addressed the students and gave the meaning of Christmas. Capuchin Deacon Joel Lopes who is presently at Kawdial in Humnabad Taluk of Bidar district, for his diaconal ministry spoke on the significance of Christmas even today. Christmas cake was distributed to all the students and all the staff (teaching & non-teaching) were given Christmas gifts. A sumptuous Christmas meal was the last event of the day.
